Release 0.8.3 is finally on the sourceforge site. I was
not able to complete the gcj only build.  I am quite sick
with a cold and am going to bed.  Mark, when you have a
chance could you please send out the announcements?  Rafael,
we need to update the site to reflect the new release (an
entry on the news page and update the download page).
