[Java-gnome-developer] Gnome applet

Hi,

Is there a tutorial or an example of how to write a gnome applet with 
java-gnome? Is it supported at all?
I have no prior experience with writing an applet.

just to clarify, do you mean a gnome-panel applet? (as opposed to a Java
applet for a web browser).

Can somebody please point me in the direction of gnome docs for panel
applets? Could be an interesting job.
