Hi,
I've just committed some changes to the text related gtk widgets and a
new example application - textbuffer. This is a clone of the gtk-demo
textbuffer example which shows off the widget. This hopefully
demonstrates how far we've come with java-gnome. The example is complete
apart from three areas:
- international text
- backgroud images (automatically generated)
- adding widgets
I'm not interested in the first two of these, but might work on the
final one when I get some time.
In terms of generally demonstrating the completeness of java-gnome, I
think it would be a really good idea if we could get a complete Java
clone of the gtk-demo program working. Some of the example apps are
already taken from this, but there are still more to do. Is anybody
on the list interested in taking on one of these sections? Any
Java-Gnome newbies? If you do, I promise to review any patches sent to
this list, offer help where I can and fix bugs when I get time.
