I've attempted this personally in the past, but as we had no concept of a
GdkNativeWindow, I stopped my work and dropped the issue. From the
gdktypes.h header file, we see that...
#ifdef GDK_NATIVE_WINDoW_POINTER
typedef gpointer GdkNativeWindow;
#else
typedef guint32 GdkNativeWindow;
#endif
I'm unsure as to whether this is a big issue or not as my proficiency in C
is rather poor, but I present this information to you all anyway in hopes
that it may be useful for would-be implementors.
