Extra commandline options for destination-file

It would be great if it was possible to create a pdf from a jasper-report only on the commandline. Your app opens a report from the commandline very well and you can save it to pdf after opening the app. But I would like to see those functions combined in an extra commandline option (something like .... -d pdf -s test.pdf). This would make it possible to generate a pdf from my own program.
