jaRTI No Longer Available: Portico Released

The Portico Project (http://porticoproject.org) has now made its first release, and as such, jaRTI downloads will no longer be available. For anyone who doesn't know, Portico is the new name for jaRTI, and it is where the project's future lies. Source code access to the jaRTI repository will remain for anyone who wants it, but it is now quite out of date and Portico is much more fully featured.

Head on over to the Portico website and start using it!

jaRTI switches from LGPL to CDDL

As of this week, jaRTI (as with other labs projects) has switched from the LGPL to the CDDL. For more information on why this switch was made, see here: http://wiki.littlebluefroglabs.com/index.php?title=The_CDDL

A new release (v0.6.2) has been made that contains the new license.

IMPORTANT: Sign up to the Mailing List!!

We would ask that all interested parties sign up to the mailing list so as to help us guage the community interest in jaRTI. It is very low volume, with mail only being sent when there is an important piece of news or announcement (such as a new release).

Important Note for SimTecT Delegates

If you saw my presentation Tuesday morning, you are probably here looking for the first official jaRTI release. I am currently having trouble getting access to any kind of bandwidth and as such, the first public releases for both <b>jaRTI and Middlesim</b> will be made <b>over the weekend</b> (available by Monday morning).

For the time being, head over to Sourceforge and join the <a href="https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jarti-announce">jarti-announce mailing</a> list for all your jaRTI news needs. A message will be posted to the list once the initial distribution has been made available.
