Hi Judy,

Do you have Java Webstart set up in your Linux? If so, please use the 
latest Java Webstart version (1.1.15).

The package you used is actually not maintaned anymore, since the source 
code is only available through CVS, and the compiled version is 
distributed through Java Webstart, since it allows automatic upgrades.

If your problem persists, please let me know.
