dbstuff/jamdb-update.conf seems to be okay, otherwise you would get an
error when calling jamdb-update.

'jamdb-update -d' starts a detection of albums/sampler that are already
in the database! You either have to call 'jamdb-update -u' to add the
files to the database and do the detection later, or the recommended
way, add the files and do the detection: 'jamdb-update -u -d'
