I have posted a patch to the tracker->patches ID:#3337735 that adds 
(fixes) the console code to handle the following functions;



CTRL+V clipboard pasting to the console

Line editing (left arrow, right arrow, delete, backspace, home, end) 
also added in the chat console (say:) prompt
mouse wheel console scrolling.



this is my fix to the bug #3331316
