Between the future targets for JAnnotation are included:

  • Improving the meta-capabilities of the engine, so that actions and capabilities are more dynamic, inter-related and at the same time encapsulated, to do exactly what you want to do in the easiest possible way each moment.
  • Allowing block actions on annotations or properties depending on criteria, and better manipulation of their relationships.
  • Adding dynamic properties such as a "right now" time property, which always contains the time at which you are the moment you execute a criteria.
  • Adding TAG properties, keywords which you can add to annotations to agilize searchs.
  • Creating a full database engine based on the JAnnotation engine paradigm.
