Patches item #3516180, was opened at 2012-04-09 11:22 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by piyush2112 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=427344&aid=3516180&group_id=40205 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Piyush Kumar (piyush2112) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Jadclipse for eclipse Indigo Windows 7 64 bit Initial Comment: Hi, I faced issues when i tried to use jadclipse with my Eclipse Indigo (Windows 7 X64). I have downloaded the source code and recompiled the net.sf.jadclipse jar file on my machine. Now the plugin works for windows X64 bit as well (follow same instructions as for the jadclipse 3.3 version). I am new to SF and dont know how to put it up as it would be very helpful to a lot of people like me. Admins please review and if found appropriate, please update on the project main page. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=427344&aid=3516180&group_id=40205 |

The following forum message was posted by dserodio at http://sourceforge.net/projects/jadclipse/forums/forum/124755/topic/4683921: When I try to access http://jadclipse.sourceforge.net/ it redirects to http://jadclipse.sourceforge.net/wiki/ which gives a 500 Internal Server Error response. I filed a ticket in SourceForge (#21445) but they replied "This is a problem with the configuration of the jadclipse project web space, which is controlled directly by the project admins [...] If the project maintainers need help resolving this issue, they may contact us directly." |

The following forum message was posted by kv7 at http://sourceforge.net/projects/jadclipse/forums/forum/124755/topic/4402669: Trying to install jadclipse on a windows machine with eclipse 1.3.2, followed the steps listed here (http://jadclipse.sourceforge.net/install.html) including configuring the path as they describe. Getting weird errors, and I can't tell if they're part of jad or the code that I'm trying to open, but look like this. Any help appreciated! Could not open the editor: The editor class could not be instantiated. This usually indicates a missing no-arg constructor or that the editor's class name was mistyped in plugin.xml. It works sometimes, but not always. Apparently results are cached so once the wrong editor is used, it is remembered and even if another open works properly, the wrong one never does. Starting with eclipse -clean helps this, but to do that for every (frequent) failure is a real pain. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=427343&aid=2974634&group_id=40205 |

I'm having difficulty running this under eclipse 3.5, am just getting the standard class bytecode view. Have tried to associate editor, haven't successfully done so. Anyone give guidance on what projects are required? Have CVS head checked out, have tried to run various combinations. Am wondering if ther eis a deploy issue, code issue or PEBCAK issue :) cheers, andy |

Add a breakpoint on the left margin, you get a green C, odd! Great work otherwise, love the new progress! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 2009-11-30 02:20 Message: This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. This is normal eclipse behavior. Do you experience this problem even in other places, i.e. in method bodies? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=427342&aid=2631611&group_id=40205 |

Not via context menu "toggle breakpoint" else via double click on the left margin. I use: * Eclipse 3.4 * JDT Compiler 3.4.0v20090220 * JD Plugin 0.1.2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Small SQL (smallsql) Date: 2009-11-17 21:22 Message: It work only on classes where source code is available like java.awt.Font. Category: None Group: None Status: Pending Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Lippa (dalippa) Assigned to: Johann Gyger (jgyger) Summary: Jad fails on some class files Initial Comment: Jad sometimes gets the option "error=2" from JadClipse which causes the decompilation to fail. Recommend adding an options page in the plug-in (with defaults) to allow the user to change which options get passed to JAD. I ran the decompilation with JAD from the command line (without the error=2 part of the line) and it works properly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2009-11-16 16:34 Message: The class files I used it on were from a job I held back in 2006. I would need to try some other class files and see if it happens with the newest version. Please leave this bug in pending. I'll try to check it out in the next couple of weeks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Johann Gyger (jgyger) Date: 2009-11-15 21:58 Message: Is this still an issue with the newest version? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Lippa (dalippa) Date: 2006-12-23 18:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569425 Originator: YES I will send you a class file or two that will duplicate the problem. Sorry I didn't log in earlier when I made the remark. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-12-23 18:53 Message: Logged In: NO I can get you a .class file that causes jadclipse to barf (but JAD works just fine)... It'll have to wait until next week though. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Johann Gyger (jgyger) Date: 2006-12-23 13:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=7927 Originator: NO Some Jad command line options are already reflected in the properties. However, I don't know how this error=2 came into the command line. Can you please provide some more information like operating system, Eclipse version, Java version? - Johann ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=427342&aid=1591403&group_id=40205 |
