Summer comes to an end

Now it's time to share what I've been doing. jACT-R has come a long way, mostly under the hood.

ACT-R/S, however, is now 'usable' - it's a late alpha at best. Examples are included with the installer.

Oops - Want a better version?

My apologies to the six people who've already downloaded the previous release. I've just uploaded new installers for the latest greatest. It should come as no surprise that the previous release was fully of nasty little bugs. Most have been squashed, and the only thing you can't do in the GUI right now is select which extensions to run (aka /PM).

Enjoy.

Post-ICCM Beta release

It's here. Grab it, install it, and play. Still no obvious way to enable /PM since it's still being hammered out.
examples/ directory contains the unit1 ACT-R tutorial code translated to jACT-R's xml format.
Enjoy the new interface..

Post-ICCM Beta en route

For those that care, despite the silence, there has been a significant amount of work going on behind the scenes. A new beta release will be coming out soon (before the ACT-R workshop, yet again). Until then, if you snag the source from CVS, you'll see many of the sexy improvements. Patience, please..

ACT-R Workshop Beta 3 Release

A new version to go along with the ACT-R workshop 8/2. This release includes a new logger, a much faster and improved visual interface (smokes really), cleaned up motor extension, custom class loader, tons of bug fixes, etc...

Beta 2 Release

I've been sitting on these changes for some time now, focusing mostly on my spatial model. I decided I should get this out the door before the workshop in July, so here it is.. Check the Change Log for details..
