If you start IE by double-clicking the IE icon on you desktop, then look at the processes you have running, you will see 1 iexplorer.exe process running. Then, if I use JACOB to run/launch IE as well, I will get another IE window, however if you look at the process list on your computer you will still see only 1 iexplorer.exe running. What I need to do is to be able to launch IE in its own process, meaning, I will get a new and unique iexplorer.exe instance on my computer's processes list when running JACOB to launch it. I have NOT been able to figure out how to get JACOB to do this. Suggestions?
ActiveXComponent appl = new ActiveXComponent("InternetExplorer.Application");
appl.setProperty("Visible", new Variant(true));
i get new processes. (windows7, IE8)
