The changes in this release are as follows:
Four new algorithms are supported (eDonkey/eMule, FCS-16, ELF-32, and CRC-64). The input on the command line supports not only hex, but also text and decimal formats now. You can verify files against a list on Linux/Unix if the list has been created on Windows and vice versa. The format for the output can be customized (e.g. creating SFV files, ed2k lists, or showing file length on MD5). It is also possilbe to calculate just one fingerprint for multiple files or a whole drive. Sourceforge bug #948070 (-c wouldn't work if -t had been set) has been fixed and Jacksum is now aware of FIFOs and symbolic directory links on on Unix/Linux.
It's required to use at least JRE 1.3.1, but 1.4.2+ is recommended.
