#9 multiple sound cards
my linux music dstros recognize both my es1371 sound
cards, and i can output to midi through both cards at
the same time. but only seem to output to one pcm out
port. i can reset jackd through qjackctl to use either
sound card hw:0 or hw:1 and that does change the pcm
out audio device.
it is clear now that both cards work in alsa at the
same time, and their midi parts work in jackd all right.
why can't i have both pcm out devices or how to i
configure jackd to do that?
i even started two instances of jackd (not in real
time), one configured for each card, but again only one
pcm out device is working, the first instance started.
