I have finally released jackalblog. The alpha version requires tedious manual setup, and is atrociously documented, but if you can figure it out, it does work. The beta version will be much easier to get running, and many more of the features will work properly. Enjoy.

Thank you for your interest in jackalblog. This project is already several years old, though it is new to the open-source community. As jackalblog is currently at the top of the list of reasons my own website is not yet finished, I anticipate an alpha release in the very near future.

jackalblog is intended to complement an existing website. Unlike other blogging tools, its design assumes that the user will be very particular about how their entries will be formatted. It will not include any templates.
