We are planning to use Jace in a production application. This means, approximately 200 manufacturing machines (like mills and drills etc.; controlling software is written in C++) will be attached to JMS (Java Message Service) by glue from Jace. :-) Now my question is: Is Jace stable and fast enough for that? When will RC1_05 be released, and what is the performance overhead that I will earn thanks to Jace compared to manually coded JNI? Since each machine sends and receives lots of JMS messages per second, and since the machine my not be stopped too long, we need to know what we get when we are using Jace (at the moment we are using manually coded JNI and started to write someting similar to Jace, but we will kick that in favour of Jace). Any experiences? Thanks Markus |
