SVN line endings and a missing include

  • Mario Emmenlauer

    Hi Jace developers, thanks for the great project.

    May I ask if it would be possible to set the SVN line endings to 'native'? I have huge problems when working on Linux, because I create patches against your current source. With the files having CRLF line endings, the patch often fails and I have to do conversions back and forth to apply it. I assume native line endings should work fine for you on Windows, and would also work for me on Linux :-(

    Also, my compiler claims that one include is missing, the following works better for me:

    Index: source/c++/source/jace/JNIHelper.cpp
    --- source/c++/source/jace/JNIHelper.cpp        (revision 37)
    +++ source/c++/source/jace/JNIHelper.cpp        (working copy)
    @@ -36,6 +36,7 @@
     #include <cstdarg>
     #include <stdlib.h>
    +#include <string.h>
     #include <iostream>
     using std::cout;

    thanks for your consideration, and please keep up the good work,

    Works like a charm!!! Now I can drop all the dos2unix and unix2dos calls from my Makefile:-)

    Thanks cowwoc, nice work!

    You're welcome. Let me know if you run into any other problems building or running under Linux. I appreciate patch contributions :)
