[Jabref-users] Start up behavior

I'm running today's (2020-09-02) development build on Slackware64-14.2/ and
have a question that should have a simple answer.

For all JabRef-5.x versions, when I start the application it displays the
entry details for the first document in the database rather than displaying
only the database entries. Is there a way for me to turn this off? If so,
I've missed it when looking at the settings.
