Rich ---------- Forwarded message ---------- I'm trying to help the developers by using the most recent snapshot in my infrequent uses of JabRef. Unfortunately, it seems that I encounter blocks to my use with each release. The current installation was uploaded early this morning, 2020-05-19, and that's what I installed. Note to devs: since untarring the downloaded tarball does not _overwrite_ the existing JabRef/ directory, but _adds_ new versions of files to the existing versions, please put note on the download page that the JabRef/ directory needs to be removed before untarring the newer version. I'm still encountering issues where the data entry window does not have a horizontal scroll bar on the bottom so all fields can be seen full size. This stopped me entering a workshop proceedings because I could not enter the required data on the right side of that window. I'm also not finding a movable window divider so I can shrink the horizontal size of the group list and see more of the bibliography list. When I open JabRef it shows the data entry box for the first entry in the database but the application was closed with that data entry box closed. How can I open the application without having that data entry window at the bottom of the bibliography list? Rich |
