Hello, I hope you can help me. I saved my marked list from the Web of Science to Endnote Web. From here I wanted to export a .bib file to use in JabRef. The following problems occurred: 1. The file is saved as a .txt file. Renaming it to a .bib allows JabRef to open it, and I can see my References. But... 2. No Bibtexkey is created, there is an error message saying they are corrupted. 3. No doi's are created- I really need them. 4. When exported as html file with Abstract and Bibtex code as dropdown link for each reference, it shows up fine- but when clicked the link refers only to the first record. I therefore tried a few other things, including an export to .bib directly from the marked list. The bibtexkeys are imported correctly and the Abstract and Bibtex code are now displayed properly, but: 1. DOIs are now displayed, but, together with Title, Year and Journal name, they are encased in round brackets. In addition, the Journal Name is in capitals, which when exported to html removes the brackets, (but ONLY for the Title) leading me to think that the two are connected. This looks terrible though, and the DOI link doesn't work because the DOI system searches for the brackets as well. Again, I hope you can help. Many thanks for your time and effort. Yours, Robin |
