I hope to improve the "find/search" function. Now, the function can only search simple cases and the searched words have OR relations. Sometimes I need to search words with AND relations and even more complex relations. Also sometimes I need to search a certain filed, e.g. author names or aritcle title. But now I cannot search only author names and in some cases many results which are not what I want are given.

I am not sure about the specific request because all the things you describe can easily be achieved: http://jabref.sourceforge.net/help/SearchHelp.php . Or, do I miss something?
