JabRef won't connect to either LibreOffice or OpenOffice under El Capitan. If fixed the links, but am told that I am likely running inconsistent versions (32 bit / 64 bit) of both programs. With OpenOffice, JabRef throws an "major.minor 51"- error, pointing at Java problems. However, I did fix all links in the OO and LO distributions, downloaded the latest JDK, and made sure that both the user and the system use JRE 1.8. I tried all afternoon to fix this, going through all available fora, but to no avail. It would be a pity if I couldn't use JabRef with LibreOffice, and help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris
