I'm using the latest beta (2.10b), and have identified an issue related to the use of the 'Open file' file menu.
In different Ubuntu installations (12.04, 12.10), all running Oracle Java, trying to open a .bib file using this menu causes Jabref to crash.
The nautilus window opens fine (for selection of the .bib file), but then Jabref crashes upon click of the 'Open' button.
This does not happen with the Jabref-v2.7 that gets installed from the ubuntu repos.
