#1 Jabber - Hangs Kyocera SmartPhone

I've installed Jabber 1.02 on my Kyocera Smartphone
6035. When Jabber connects to the internet - it seems
to lock the entire PALM and PHONE capabilities. It
simply locks up the entire system - the connection is
established - the screen displays the buddy list and
who is on - but then nothing works.
