JabaMud team announces future release of Creator3D

The JabaMud project team is about to release a great tool to complement the JabaMud Role Playing Game. Creator is intended to be a tool to view and construct 3D objects that will be used in JabaMud. Creator will load .obj files and allow the user to manipulate the shapes texture and material. Creator will also allow you to create animations with imported shapes. After a Creator object or scene is made the user can then save it to a binary data file format that can be used by JabaMud. Creator will be written in Java.

Alpha coming soon

I have almost completed work on an alpha version of the MUD engine. Currently JabaMud supports some basic object and camera movement in 3D, terrain following(not 1st person), a basic animation system, and a few text commands like look and say. There is still much missing, no combat system, no tick system, no security or level system. The client asks for a password but this doesn't matter yet. Anyone interested please shoot me some mail.
