You should probabily try and rebuild it again with the ant script but I

These are basically the questions I want to try and answer with this 
struts implmentation. Initialy we want to do it without Cocoon and then 
see how easy it is to add it to the framwork afterewards. The JSP view 
file can be written with XML tag and have a refer to to style sheet in 
it for transformation as well.

I aggree with you totally. Yets see how this works out with one of the 
use cases for example the logon use case. I myself am for getting rid of 
cocoon totally but maybe there are some additional features in Cocoon 2 
that we could use.
