Please make sure the ${device} is also present at the end of the command 
line, ie:

>>          line="--root ${j2me.device.db} --set ${exporter.props} --res
>> ${res.bld} --format cpp:prefix=//#,nameprefix=$,noupper,nostrings
>> ${device}"/>
