Sachin,
When i try to checkout a module in cvs, i get invalid port error. I
am connecting through a proxy.
Below are the details :

Installing the PuTTY SSH suite : Done
Installing WinCvs : Done
Generating a SSH key pair : Done
Uploading your SSH public key : Done
Configuring Pageant : Done
Testing automated authentication : Couldnot do as i am behind a firewall
and connect tho' proxy.
Configuring WinCvs : Done
My Preferences are setup like below :
Under General Tab
-------------------
CVS Root : rag...@cv...:/cvsroot/j2eeadapters
Authentication : SSH Server
Use Version : cvs 1.10 (Standard)
Under Prots Tab
-----------------
Check for an alternate rsh name : F:\sf\sw\putty\putty.exe
Under Proxy Tab
------------------
Connect Using a proxy server : checked
Host name or IP of the proxy : gatekeeper.idc.oracle.com
port number of the Proxy : 80
