JTrac is not just another defect tracking tool. It takes the approach that you do all the configuration for each field, each user, each state in the workflow and each transition from one state to another.
It doesn't restrict you at all and lets you shape the tool to do what you want it to. And the configuration is on a per project basis so you can have two completely different uses of the tool on one server without any problems.
One major selling point of the software is how easy it is to get it up and running. I am no expert and I managed to install and start the server within 20 minutes.
The road ahead for JTrac is very exciting and I am looking forward to how Peter can improve on what he has achieved so far.
