First, thanks for this piece of software.

If I have one SFTP connection open and inactive for a
long time and then try to use the refresh button it
causes jFtp to freeze.

Hello, and thank you for informing us of this and thanking us
    for writing this software.

Is this something that you have found has happened every
time you've clicked the refresh button after having an SFTP
connection open for a sufficiently long period of time? Does
this only happen for SFTP connections as you seem to be
implying? It's hard to imagine it not happening for any other
connection types. I am wondering if this is somehow GUI-
related. I've seen the application "freeze" when in fact a little
quirk with the GUI led to it not responding to mouse clicks.
This, however, has long since been fixed, and it is possible
that a similar fix can be produced to solve this.

I will look into this, and it looks like version 1.41 will have
    some bugfixes.

Thank you for your interest in JFtp,

    J.K.

If I connect to my SFTP server, then kill the sftpd process
and try to refresh I get an IOException, not a freeze.
Haven't done testing using a real timeout yet.

Jake reported he wasn't able to reproce the bug either, so
I'll mark it as invalid and close it now.
