We are calling JFtp from other java programs. That
means that when JFtp calls System.exit(1) it kills all
our stuff.

Our solution was to add static
JFtp.setStandAlone(boolean) method that is set to true
if main() is used. This way JFtp can check whether it
should use System.exit() or dispose().

    ok, i added the boolean Settings.isStandalone and set it to
    true per default (1.28pre2).

    p.s.: can you tell me more about how you use JFtp? i'm
    always interested to see how jftp is used :)

    Thanks!

    I changed the code in a similar way after reading your code,
    i just introduced a new variable Settings.isStandalone
    (default true).

    Can you tell me more about what you are doing with JFtp?
    I'm very interested how it is used :)
