A new version of IzyNFC is now available in beta release. It allows you to develop Java Card applet, Android application, Java Mobile Application... It is called beta not because of the stability but we are working on new functionnalities not yet present in this release. But with this version you have an update of Java SDK, Eclipse and SmartCardAPI.

Due to maintenance operation, the whole version of IZYNFC Pretoria and Bamako will not be available. But the plugins remain downloadable.
We are trying to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
Forums and Wiki are always available.

People often ask "Could it be possible to integrate the android development plugin to IzyNFC ?". Because IzyNFC is compliant with Android plugin, this is a good feature request but unfortunately due to the size of the plugin and the SDK, IzyNFC would be too heavy to download (more the 2 Giga byte). Moreover it is not sure that Google allows third part product to integrate as is the Android Development tools. But on the IzyNFC web site, there is the description to

IzyNFC Bamako and Pretoria are compliant with the Android SDK and plug-ins for Eclipse. The team has made several tests to show the compliance. You can develop your Smart Card applications and Android applications with one IDE, just by installing ADT on IzyNFC.

A new version of IzyNFC is available: IzyNFC Pretoria is the 5.x version. It based on Eclipse 3.5 (aka Galileo) Pulsar.
- New plugin to develop MIDlet: Mobile Tools For Java (aka MTJ)
- New Java Card Profiles, new libraries
- Improvement of Java Card project (Perspective, Menus, …)
- Support development for Java Card 3 applets
- New JDK Version.
It has been delivered as Release Candidate. All comments about the new version are welcomed.
In the final release, the tool CAT Loader should be replaced by GPShell and a new tool: SmartCardProxy will be included. We aim to publish the final version mid January.... read more

a new version of CAT Loader (1.2.1) is available from http://www.simalliance.org/servlets/sfs?t=/documentManager/sfdoc.file.detail&i=1185787014303&l=0&e=UTF-8&fileID=1268056227083 (you need to have an account but it is free). Some bugs (such as 'String Index Out Of Range', ...) have been fixed. You can replace the one provided with IzyNFC bamako.

It will contain:
- bugs fixes,
- card profile editor (no need to edit the XML to customize your profiles)
- new applet loader ("CAT Loader", the new one from SIM Alliance)
- updated user guides
- new smart card APIs (UICC API for Java Card)

A new version of OJCF is available
It contains:

The source code has been committed on SVN and the new user guides are available to download
At last, the user guides have been updated. They are more compliant with the version of IzyNFC.
