#7 IXP425: ntpdate corrects the time in the wrong direction

I'm using SnapGear-3.0.0 on IXDP425. For time-
synchronisation i use the ntpdate. The ntpdate shows a
strange behavior. If the time-difference gets about 0,5
sec every new call to the ntpdate doubles the time-
difference. I think the problem is, that the ntpdate
corrects the time-difference in the wrong direction. At
the point of 0,5 sec difference it should add -0,5 sec to
correct the time, but ntpdate subtracts 0,5 sec and we
get a time-difference of 1 sec. Does anybody get the
same problem? How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Thomas
