I have a question about donations.

I saw somewhere as I was setting this up that this
project is not configured to accept donations. I would
like to know more about this - how it works and how to
set it up.

Also, along these I am wondering if it would be
acceptable to ask for donations when distributing this
software for our organization as well as the group? I am
with a city and of course our function is not to produce
software, on the other hand we are short of money now
and it could be used.

I am also wondering about donations and money for the
people who have volunteered to help.

The software would still be freely available, just a simple
request stating that if you support our efforts we would
accept money.
