Attached is a patch that adds several important improvements to ivtools-0.9.4 when compiling with gcc-3.0 (over and above the changes incorporated in that release). It reduces optimization from -O6 to -O2, which ensures the compilation will complete in a reasonable amount of time. It fixes the export/import mechanism's use of libstdc++ v3 iostreams. And it makes the necessary changes for building with ACE. These changes are also incorporated in the cvs repository at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ivtools It looks like the worst is over in migrating to gcc-3.0, and I'm really relieved.
