Try using ntheorem. I've kind of ported the hebrew article layout to using ntheorem but haven't completed it (missing starred environments). See https://github.com/guyru/lyx-heb-layouts Generally it's better to ask such support questions in the Ivritex mailing list (iv...@li...), as this list is intended for development issues (and is hardly active). In the ivritex mailinlist, there is higher chance that someone will be able to help you. Happy Passover, Guy |

Thanks a lot! Followed all the instructions, and it's working. (Mint 14) Small issue - Lyx can't compile a theorem environment in Hebrew (When I use theorem layouts). Is it only me, or does it have no support for such environment? I'm using the culmus package in the preamble, and article(Hebrew) document. Hi Ariel, Ivritex is deprecated in recent tex distributions. Please install culmus-latex (also available via the ivritex project page). There is a small workaround which is needed for ubuntu 12.04 due to a bug introduced by the Debian maintainers. Please seadch the ivritex mailing list (or my blog http://guyrutenberg.com) for details. Hi all, anyone here? Did you know that ivritex is no longer in the ubuntu 12.04 repo? I had to download 1.1.1.6 manually. And the .deb you published in sourceforge, is not installable (ubuntu 12.04), because the tetex-extra is not satisfiable !! I'm a heavy hebrew lyx user, so this concerns me... Cheers, Ariel Haviv |
