Project Ivo will serve as a forum for open notes, open discussions, and open designs with regards to electronics and - more specifically - robotics.

The Namesake

The namesake of Project Ivo is the notorious Dr. Ivo Robotnik (a.k.a Dr Eggman), a character of the storyline in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise. In the role of his representing a megalomaniacal, "mad scientist" archetype, Dr. Robotnik may present us with a sort of tongue-in-cheek opportunity for a good, cheap laugh.
