Hello, I am trying to craft a GetParam dialog to retrieve, among other things, a directory path. To do so I try the %f formatter, but without success. However I try, if I have only one argument to retrieve (the %f), all sorts of formattings tries just do nothing : If I use "Screenshot destination path: %s\n" , the dialog exposes a text edition control and all is well. The documentation says that %f does the same thing and adds a button to open a file selection dialog, so I tried different things : calling iup.GetParam returns immediately and no dialog is even created. If I add a numeric argument at the end of the format string, I get the following error : bad argument #4 to 'GetParam' (number expected, got string) It looks like the whole %f specification is ignored, then the numeric argument is parsed, and fetching the default values gets the string argument instead of the appropriate numeric value. This is easily reproductible with the LfW getparam.wlua sample : just replace %s with %f in the argument specification string. So is %f broken, or is there something I missed regarding its use ? Best, Benoit. |
