#4 sub category list gets messed up

To see this problem:
1- enable sub categories to be displayed in the table
2- click the sub cat for an item, the correct list appears
3- click the sub cat for another item, the old list appears
if the item type does have a sub cat or a messed up list
appears if the type of the item does not have a sub cat
