Beta 0.8.3 is now available. The release contains a bug fix and incorporates several features suggested by users. Everyone is encouraged to update to this latest release.

Beta 0.8.2 has been released today. It contains minor bug fixes and feature enhancements. All users are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

A bug was quickly discovered by my beta testers (thanks, guys!) for release 0.8. That bug has been fixed in release 0.8.1.

All users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version.

Our fifth beta release has been posted today, August 1. Beta 0.8 incorporates many changes, including a GUI change and faster parsing. All users are encouraged to update to this release.

Beta release 0.8 is finished and undergoing private testing by the developer. It is scheduled to be released on Monday, August 2.

Release 0.8 represents a major change, including a redesigned GUI, smaller file size, and faster parsing of iTunes' XML data file.

Our fourth beta release has been uploaded. Beta 0.7 sports a custom icon for the application, error messages that more closely follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and support for localization.

Beta 0.6 should be released in the next day or two. It incorporates better error handling and updated online help. Significantly, the application's code has been refactored, improving readability and maintainability.

The latest release, beta 0.5.2, is out. All users are strongly encouraged to update to this version. Several important bug fixes have been incorporated into this release. Those for whom the previous version failed to run on their machine should be able to run this version.

There is a bug in the initial beta release causing backups to fail with an "Insufficient free space on filesystem" error message. The application mistakenly measures the size of the entire iTunes library rather than the total size of purchased files!

As I write this there are 101 downloads of the binary. To all those who have downloaded, thank you for your interest. Please be patient! I will have a bug fix in the next few days with version 0.5.2.

I have created two e-mail lists: the first for beta testers, the second for announcements to those interested in updates marking our progress towards a 1.0 release. The lists may take up to 24 hours setup time. I anticipate they will be up at the latest by 4 PM (East Coast time) on Thursday, June 24.
