During that long pause, you do see the words "Building database..." and 
the progress bar scrolling like a barbershop poll though, don't you? By 
the way, about how big is your "Purchased Music" playlist. Mine is 
small: 57 songs at 215.2 MB. I expect that parsing the XML file will 
take much longer with more music.
