#122 some tags in editor hiding while typing

I'm working on a document using the style from journal of statistical software and iTexMac version 536

when I enter \includegraphics{} or \url{} tags the text of the tag disapears as soon as I begin to enter the content. Reappears if I delete content, or if I close and reopen the file.
