I tried that before I sent the previous post. Using iTerm 0.9.5 on
Mac OS X 10.4.10 I see only:
  vt100
  linux
  mine
  Global
  ansi
  xterm
in the Bookmarks > Mange Profiles > Keyboard Profiles list. This is
the same list I have always had, including profiles I created when I
installed (a somewhat older version of) iTerm long ago. Could its
existence be overriding iTerm's default?
