[Iterm-discuss] Meta Key Functionality

Hey List!

I had been searching around the net for a while and couldn't get any 
definitive answers, so I decided to post here.  I was wondering if 
anyone had successfully mapped the meta key functionality to something 
besides ESC, particularly ALT.  I have got the switch to work for both 
the built in terminal and xterm, but I still prefer to use iTerm, 
because of the tabs and integration with growl.  So any answers as to 
how it can be done or why it can not be done would be much appreciated.
