#892 Disable Apple Function Keys in iTerm

In short: Option to disable Apple function keys (Volume Up / Down, etc) when iTerm is active. Return to system default when iTerm is unfocused.

I love the Apple function keys (Volume Up / Down, Brightness, etc) but I hate them when I am in iTerm. Many console applications I use require function key presses, which require using the Fn key in combination with the F key. I'd love to see an option that disabled the Apple function keys in iTerm, and then return to normal usage when iTerm is unfocused.
