This might be complicated, but it's the one thing I miss from an "old-
fashioned" X11 environment... Gnome, KDE, etc. supply terminal
programs that let you save current windows on exit. So if you have
to reboot for a software update or something crashes, you can pick
up where you left off.
Combined with something like sshLogin that loads your ssh keys/
agent for auto-logins, this would be the killer feature.
I won't detail it too much as I don't know how it would be
implemented beyond:
-a pref to turn auto save/load on/off
-a menu item to load/save sessions
-perhaps tie into bookmarks? ie: a pref for each bookmark like
"open this bookmark at launch"
