In most shells you can put several commands on a single line, usually by separating them with semicolons. This does not appear to be possible in the "Command" box in a bookmark.
For example, I have bookmarks to connect to individual servers. I'd like to print out the username and server name that I am connecting with. Something like:
echo firstname.lastname@example.org; ssh email@example.com
iTerm sees this as a single command and echos the whole line. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this?
(Yeah, I could do it with a shell script but it would be nice to keep all the logic in iTerm if possible.)
