Hi, Glad to hear you were able to get everything up and running. You can get the schemas for the API at the below locations under webroot Ex53: sites/all/modules/omb53_api/schemas Ex300: sites/all/modules/restful_api/schemas Should you wish to redownload the schemas please get them from one of the Release packages as the current SVN versions are unstable. Data entry screens have been discarded and we will remove the reference to them soon. Thank you for your interest in the IT Dashboard application. To answer your question on the level of effort, please clarify the following: Is your intent to submit the same amount data that is collected and verified against the current Exhibit 53 and Exhibit 300 schemas on the live IT Dashboard? Or do you need the schemas to be altered to accept only the data that is currently collected by your existing web app?
>From my understanding, it seems you would prefer the latter, with a system-to-system integration to minimize the steps involved in populating your dashboard from your existing system. The amount of work involved also depends on how much the data in your project management app differs from the data on the current IT Dashboard.

Thanks for this prompt reply.
After deploying ITDashboard on my local server, i showed it to my superiors. After this, they are keen and want it to be integrated with our existing web app for tracking projects. However, i would appreciate if certain things can be clarified before i commit anything to my seniors.
In our case also, we have data entry screens for accepting project details. How using ITDashboard, we can ask officials(naive users) to upload data in XML format. Please let me know.
Also, how much effort will be required for such an integration keeping in mind that similar sort of information in captured by our project management app. also.

Ron, Access you have provided is for drupal user login (not the drupal admin). It is ’s hard to see details without the proper access. Few things we have found are: 1. Server doesn’t seem to be set up to use CleanURLs. Is the Apache rewrite module turned on? 2. Based on attached screenshot Log4Drupal module is trying to write to /var/www/drupal/drupal.log this file doesn’t seem to exist. 3. Also application is setup under 67.165.143.223/webapp indicating that it is not directly under the webroot. You need to change the webroot (most probably to /var/www/webapp/ if your current webroot is /var/www/) or you need to set up vhosts in apache. It will be best follow set up instructions as given on SourceForge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/it-dashboard/files/Documents/). Hello,
I've downloaded the "IT Dashboard" project from sourceforge.net, I got it installed on my local machine for testing with no issues. While trying to follow the directions for "Uploading Data to the IT Dashboard_v1 0 0.doc", I'm stuck at 3.3 (RUN THE PROCEDURE TO MIGRATE THE EXHIBIT 53 TABLES). It says to call addOrDeleteInvestmentsForOMB53PassBack('2012',@param); OR addOrDeleteInvestmentsForDemoDatabase('2012',@param); which one depends on your $conf['omb53_api']['passback'] setting in settings.php The problem I'm having is neither of these functions seem to exist anywhere in the code I downloaded from sourceforge.net(Release 1.0.0) or any of the related files? I am un-able to upload (Exhibit 300 xml) files without errors. I suspect the errors are due to the fact that I cannot call either of the above mentioned functions. Would you please be kind enough to point me to where I can obtain the above mentioned functions?

As of last Friday I have updated the SVN structure such that it has a more standard structure. Changes made were as follows Created a new folder at the top level named trunk. Moved all existing folders EXCEPT tags into trunk. Created an additional top-level folder named branches. Regards, Gaurav |
