to clarify what ben just sent...

if you only want to _read_ from the repos, that should be fine...

most of you are probably going to want to play with the examples that were 
presented last night, so have fun!  "Frozen" is only on commits, not 
checkouts.

in short,
CVS checkout  --> good
CVS commit    --> bad   (until we notify you it's not frozen)
